Terms of service.

1. Overview

These Terms of Service outline the conditions under which services are provided by Grounded Health Co. By engaging in services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Services

Grounded Health Co. provides mental health occupational therapy services focused on supporting individuals to build practical skills for everyday life, wellbeing, and participation.

Services may include:

  • Individual therapy sessions (in-person or telehealth)

  • Goal setting and intervention planning

3. Appointments

Booking an initial first appointment online requires full payment at time of booking. Subsequent bookings do not require payment at time of booking.

Appointments are available in:

  • 50-minute sessions

4. Fees and Payments

  • Fees are payable at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

  • Payment methods may include bank transfer, EFTPOS, or approved third-party funding (e.g. NDIS).

  • Any outstanding balances must be settled prior to future appointments.

5. Cancellations and Non-Attendance

  • A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a cancellation fee (up to the full session fee).

  • Exceptions may be made in extenuating circumstances at the clinician’s discretion.

6. Confidentiality

Your privacy is important. All personal and health information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)and relevant health privacy laws.

Information may be shared without consent only when:

  • Required by law

  • There is a risk of harm to yourself or others

7. Consent to Services

By engaging in services, you consent to:

  • Participation in occupational therapy

  • Collaborative goal setting and intervention

  • The collection and use of relevant personal information

You may withdraw consent at any time.

8. Communication

Communication may occur via:

  • Phone

  • Email

  • SMS

While reasonable efforts are made to maintain confidentiality, electronic communication carries some level of risk.

9. Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to:

  • Attend sessions on time

  • Engage in therapy to the best of their ability

  • Communicate openly regarding needs, goals, and concerns

10. Limitation of Liability

Grounded Health Co. provides services in line with professional standards; however:

  • Outcomes cannot be guaranteed

  • Clients are responsible for their own decisions and actions outside of sessions

11. Changes to Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. The most current version will be available upon request or via the website.
